Enhancing Supply Chain Resilience by Strengthening DMSMS and PM&P Management
Supply chain resiliency is the capability of the supply chain to respond quickly to disruptions. Warfighters depend upon supply chain resiliency when systems are in production to field capability as soon as possible and then during sustainment to operate and support that capability. Supply chain resiliency depends upon proactive DMSMS management to help avoid availability issues throughout a system’s life cycle. And in turn, part selection procedures that choose items with significant time left in their life cycle and with viable replacement options can reduce DMSMS risks throughout the life cycle. This conference will explain roles and opportunities for Program Office leadership, DMSMS management practitioners, and part selection engineers to contribute to supply chain resiliency in support of the warfighter.
